Our Databasin page

One Forest Network will continue to contribute its legacy of sharing open conservation data that it started as Two Countries One Forest. This open access platform provides a space for users to access data relevant to the Northern Appalachian/Acadian Ecoregion. This has been made possible through a long-lasting partnership with the Conservation Biology Institute

Future Forests Reimagined (2) A series of Workshops that convened representatives from the United Nations Biosphere Regions in eastern Canada and northeastern US, focusing on enhanced inter-regional, transboundary collaboration.

Future Forests Reimagined
(Phase 1)

Future Forests Reimagined A series of Workshops that convened key stakeholders and Rights holders from Indigenous groups, Canada, and the U.S. to develop a shared plan for accelerating the protection and stewardship of a resilient forested landscape across the Northern Appalachian-Acadian-Wabanaki (NAPAW) ecoregion of Canada and the United States.

Rapid Assessment

An executive summary of the study is available as well as the full report.

Rapid Assessment of New Conservation Science in the Northern Appalachian-Acadian Ecoregion A report intended to provide the broader conservation community of the ecoregion with

  1. a synthesis of key conservation challenges and opportunities,
  2. an overview of what new conservation science tells us about the ecoregion, and
  3. recommendations about conservation priorities and next steps that the society and its partners can undertake.
